I feel like the ending was really rushed?? I kinda got lost near the end. Also it was kinda boring, but I would recommend reading the whole thing

Pretty long, gets kind of boring half-way through, and the pay-off for reading to the end is not all that satisfying. 6/10

One of the best yuri manga out there!
Characters and situations feels pretty real and relatable. In particular I would like to note interactions and dialogs between girls. They for once are like actual conversations between highschool students, unlike most HS rom\romcom manga where dialogs sound anything but natural speech.
It's pretty slow paced, so if you are not invested in characters and story you could naturally find it boring. Also despite being pretty realistic in terms of setting and characters, manga uses a bit of "everybody is gay" trope. It's not excessive like in some yuri works where every girl is lesbian, but still numbers of girls who are in love with girls are higher than natural. Anyway it's not like a big minus, just minor note. It's really great manga overall.

A wonderful yuri that definitely aims for more realism than most others. It takes a little while to pick up the pace and there are so many characters that it can be easy to lose track but this is definitely a cut above the rest when it comes to quality of storytelling. It never quite made me cry but it still had some serious emotional impacts and a great conclusion.

I feel satisfied now that I've finished and I'm sure Aoi Hana will stick with me for a long time

the best way to describe this is a very enthusiastic and excited "meh". Very flawed but still a good read

edit: nvmn fuck that lol, I just re-read it and it really grew on me, a really solid read, much much better than the disaster that was wondering son imo

If not for the ending, i would give it 8.5/10, due to the ending not sure between 7.5 and 8/10. No clue why Japanese manga's love this stupid trope .

I started reading this after I watched the anime. Anime was good. A bit slow tho.
Manga…it’s not a bad story. But I do agree with some other comments about too many characters. It got so messy I almost couldn’t keep track of who’s who and just skimmed most of the side character talk.
For the two main characters I wasn’t sure when they broke up when they got back together cuz it’s not written clearly. It actually never states it. Cuz I was confused I kept going back to check and they never state these events. It’s like glossing over that they did. Some events felt sort out of place because it didn’t show or literally say it happened.

Final thoughts. Cute story about yuri romance in school. But this has been the first story of Yuri that felt confusing on some parts of the story. Just vague phrasing without actually stating them.

7/10 could be better. But not horrible. Ending felt unresolved but also happy. I get what happened, just doesn’t feel real since they don’t actually state it.

Man, I still can't tell how much I like this story or not. This is the epitome of take the good with the bad, but overall I think I enjoyed my experience.

One thing I seldom do is talk about the art--it's usually subjective--but man does the quality vary where I read it. Sometimes it was so gorgeous that it blew my mind, and other times it looked like doodles. It affected my experience greatly at times.

One thing I love about manga are the characters, and... this series has a double-edged sword when it comes to that topic. There are very complex and nuanced characters, but by the end it is borderline impossible to keep up with them all. It makes main characters and their romances, such as Akira and Fumi, fall behind. But many of these characters are so interesting that they make you want to see where they go! UGH! And the dialogue feels realistic and down to earth, making connecting to characters so easy... when you can remember who they are again.

I like the story overall, but the pacing is so inconsistent. Sometimes something with little purpose gets a whole chapter and then other imperative moments get a sloppy page to cover it. On more that one occasion I thought I had missed pages because there were jumps in logic or progression for certain characters and their relationships.

While I won't spoil it, another issue I have where the relationship lies at the end and how it gets there. Was it for drama? I can't say nor could I.

7/10 Would I recommend reading this? I would, flaws and all. When this manga peaks, it is fantastic: easily 9/10 quality. The issue is there are times where I would rate parts as low as 4/10, considering the story, characters, art, and pacing at some points. I sat here, thinking about how I feel about this series as a whole, and I'm going to be lame and take from the manga words that fit my feelings too well. "At some point, [it] stopped being all fun and games, and things started getting a little too serious. But once I pulled myself away from all that seriousness, it left an empty space inside of me."
