it was nice to see in the conclusion that they lost, it's a satisfying build up. it kinda shows that there them being the main characters isn't reliable plot armour, and that there's actual growth and development from not just the MC's team, but others. and it builds way more suspense now knowing that you can't always guarantee the MC team will win.

thank you for translating!

Eh, this is just classic Sports Manga. Losing a game here and there at the start and then later the ridiculous comebacks happen left and right. 😂

@sheep1 Aren't page 10 and 11 missing?

I'm assuming he probably missed the 3 on those pages because they talked about needing a 3 point specialist but he even if he made, the ref would have called him on double dribbling. Can't dribble, stop, then dribble again.

@jovanguy7 On page 6 it actually shows that he didn't place his right hand on the ball so technically his dribble was still alive allowing for the sidestep. But his left hand is dangerously close to the bottom half of the ball which could be called a carry. He should of jumped into the rookie closing out at him for 3 free throws lol

-Raimu being Akashi with that play style/attitude change lmaoo

-Raimu could've got that foul for a three point play or maybe an and1. It might work since Shishido is already on a falling momentum.

-I'm glad they lost 'cause I swear it would be a plot armor moment. The characters could still develop from this loss.
