But plot twist ! The mean girls knew they were going to be spied on by the green-haired girl, so they came up with a plan to thwart MC’s plan.

But what a twist ! MC knew their plan was going to be leaked, so he came up with a plan to counter their plan through a plan.

But the plan didn’t take into account the fact that there was a secret plan to thwart the plan within the plan that was part of the plan, just as planned.

Barring any more reinforcements to the imperial guard players they're already at equal numbers to them or thereabouts atleast I think, and since they're not expecting a powerful counterattack that soon, they're not likely to have a similarly upper hand in an ambush like that.

And even if plots, counter-plots, counter-counter plots etc. could happen, there's always A'Yue with smash her way through any of them.
The perfect plan can be countered by idiots and an idiotic plan might seem too crazy to be countered by geniuses (genius?) in my opinion.
