I was holding out hope it would do something interesting after it got out of the painfully long and incredibly boring childhood, but alas it will forever stay as a 3/10 now. Keeping the MC a literal toddler for almost 30 chapters was a terrible move on the authors part.

I would argue there have been harder axes. There was a manga that was finished scanlating recently that got axed mid plot. Like, zero resolution, not even like a cliffhanger-style ending. Just standard "there should probably be a next chapter but there won't be" end.

Don't think it was exactly axed, rushed maybe, but just like Chizan said in another comment and after checking out the source, the manga likely ran out of content to adapt since both sources, the WN and LN stop at around the same point here, manga ended where the source stopped and no one bothered to give it more content, not even the og author, can't be helped if its creator didn't bother lmao

I guess this is just one of the problems when you write your protagonists to be prodigious toddlers. You spend so much time cramming detail into the 4 years of the protagonist's life, literally writing your story into a wall with no ideas left.

And mangaka really hooked him up to the heroines that were introduced as if they were going to become his love interests. That's sad. Really hoped for some kind of creativity, although I'll admit I knew it would be in vain.

To be fair, this was based on a light novel... and these kinda series are often meant to be more for advertisement rather than run as their own series... so they have to do quite well to continue beyond being an ad....

Guess that's just what the isekai landscape is like/has become.

Tsk, if I knew this story was going the harem route, as a child no less, I would never have started reading it. I skipped to the end thinking the author might come to their senses but was bitterly disappointed. Blarg! I hate harem stories and I feel cheated since the tags weren't clear about it.

Also, a sudden ending is the same thing as a bad ending. Low rating from me!
