if you read some previous posts, you'll see that even the resource material ran out, they might have simply stopped there as well. it's an odd place to stop and it has all the markings of a rushed job, as if it were axed, but it might just have been the finish line anyways.

Are we sure this got axed,? I say this because the webnovel stops exactly at this point in the story as well, at chapter 151, and that was released back in 2018. And the light novel proper is only 3 volumes, third volume released in 2019.

Chances are, they simply run out of source material, in this case...

There's plenty of examples of exactly this in the stone/bronze age era: Leader/Chieftain takes a wife every year, usually to cement relations, quite often also as a fertility ritual.

And yes, there's also plenty cultures where you were considered a Man as soon as you owned/tamed your first horse. Which could be as early as 4-5 years old.
Given that this story clearly played in the bronze age.. They weren't doing things like in Podunkah, Kansas...
