It's really funny seeing all these soy boys getting butthurt about their religion's sacred food being compared to rat poison.
No one's butthurt so much as we're all just, well, kinda laughing. While there are definitely some drawbacks to ingesting soy products, comparing it to something that can kill you with a dose of a few micrograms is ridiculous. This is like claiming stubbed toes and shotgun wounds are the same.

So we just not gonna talk at all about Weiss' original persona coming out in the fight versus Allen???

You know, I kinda find these elimination-based schools kinda trash. Like, a student failing a class is a failure of the student. A large portion of the class failing is indicative of a failure of the teacher. Makes me kinda want a manga about taking in all these rejects, raising them all up to be OP, and then trashing the original school that kicked them out. idk

Also, if Allen was able to get back up and keep swinging, then surely this isn't Weiss's fault at all and more the educator's fault for not calling it before things got life-threatening?

So far, an apology and reconciliation to a rival relationship would be idea. Unfortunately...Weiss is a hater down to his soul.

Milk truly is a menace. There's no escaping her. In a way, Weiss is lucky. In another...

There are some IRL education/training programs out there that have strict elimination standards. Seeing one incorporated into a high school setting is... weird of course. Sometimes it is commentary on grading expectations where if a student doesn't make the cut they might as well just quit and not exist because they won't make it in a hyper competitive rat race for future careers.
This story doesn't go that route, instead it seems to be more in line with the military standard, the MC has hinted that the game is VERY difficult probably to prepare the students for the future difficulty curve scaling up. So, if a student can't make the cut they will probably not survive the kinds of fights they'd be expected to face.
Either way, I'd 100% enjoy a reject-focused story too. Though them becoming OP might waste the opportunity, keep them as underdogs for a while, also plenty of room for comedy antics since they can be more relaxed. =P

Thanks for the tl, I hope weiss can resist the anger of the former noble, and don't do anything that will make him look bad in everyone's eyes.

That's true. If the school's choice is expulsion or graduating underqualified students to certain death, then I can see them in a more reasonable light.

Yeah, maybe "becoming OP" isn't quite right. More like... "readjusting so that they can thrive in their inherent strengths". Along with some accommodation and teamwork, they can produce better results than a rigid assembly-line type cuttthroat program.

"Scored the highest in history"
"Not breaking any record"
What the fuck is that guy smoking?
They also have written test.
Weiss could score best overall score. Meanwhile, the other girl might not score as well overall, but she’s powerful in what she’s good in.

Okay, having the headmaster grill Sebas and Milk about what exactly they did to Weiss, and their stonewalling him in response was funny. It is true though that the change came from Weiss himself. No way Milk with a demotivated student would have created someone on par with Weiss as he is now.

Quick question: does this series just release slowly or do the translators not have enough time to translate this?

There are no new raws, so there's nothing to translate either yet.
It is probably slow to come out then.
Thanks for telling me! It’s always good to know what’s happening before pointing fingers and such.
The translators are very cool then, because it seems (at least in my view) that the chapters release very 1-2 MONTHS, being able to remember and not give up on a very slow releasing series is very awesome of them. I give my thanks 👍
