I feel like I’m definitely in the minority here, but I’m kind of rooting for her and Sakura-senpai. He seems like such a great guy. And I might be completely off the mark, but ever since Amatou rejected her & after hearing the story about his best friend, I’ve thought it’s at least possible the thing he wants to tell her after the sports festival is that he’s gay, not that he likes her back. Yes, he called her cute and seemed jealous, but I think there are potential hints for either direction (he likes her back or he’s gay). Regardless, I’m thoroughly enjoying this manga! Thanks for translating!
