I'm enjoying this as fluff but the romance dimension really throws me off. She's a little girl with a Teddy Bear ffs. This has always come across to me as an "adopted orphan" kind of situation and pushing it to romance as if they're equally adult feels a bit forced and very uncomfortable at the least.
