In his defense, he actually gave his parents approx 500m yen, so what he really used is only 45-50 m yen, so yeah, not that much spending yet.

I actually do appreciate them trying to convert the money. Cause neither side really have a good understanding of both money value. So he just picked something he did see and do the conversion from there. As they said, it’s not really accurate measure but it gives enough concept that he’s stupidly loaded. Lots of isekai series just converts the money right away as if that actually makes any sense.
