March of the Penguins, Gladiator, and Independence Day.

The MC's ancestors may be originally from that world, and started a family in Japan after escaping the nobles.
That raises further questions, like why could they pass through the door? And why do they have the "godly" constution that requires Japanese food?

I feel like I didn't quite understand what Valetta figured out, myself.

I think Kazura is a descendant of both worlds.

Legend of Greysior feels like all the events happened pretty quick, but the reality was that his ancestors probably stayed in the village for months or maybe even years. During that time, he fell in love with someone from that world.

Then when the Lord went to capture him, Kazura's ancestor ran away with his wife but died before he could enter. As for his wife, my guess is she managed to go the Japan because she was pregnant with his child which probably allowed her to pass through.

Of course, this doesn't explain why it made it seems like Kazura coming to this world was pre-determined

The hows of coming and going aside, I'm curious about that spot-welded steel plate Kazura described. First thought of mine was, the thing that's sustaining the door is probably under that plate.

I think it was meant to imply that someone before him needed to transport heavy equipment through the gate. Possibly his father. This was the motivation that lead to him discovering it in the first place.

Then there was that song that basically described Greysior's lover Hachiko-ing away for the rest of her life on the isekai side of the gate.

I wonder...the Uribou/!Olmasior wolflady seems to feel fate has events in motion, and she's gone out of her way twice now to show Kazura souls being guided on / laid to rest. Where's she going with that?

Re: the gate, it seems like his Dad knows about the home, but hasn't been there, so then someone else with a connection to it has, and relatively recently.

...are we dealing with a time loop? Perhaps a multigeneration one?

(also, I think we're missing chapters 47.5 and 81.5, if they're relevant)

No, it was a steel plated floor that was made to deliberately take heavy loads without damaging the floor. Back in Chapter 12 Kazura was concerned about the floors (which would otherwise be made of wood and tatami mats) collapsing while he's transporting literally tons of manure to the other side. He removed the tatami mats only to see the steel plated reinforced floor that his dad made which he realized were deliberately for tracking in really heavy things.

Without that, him taking over vehicles and stuff would literally just collapse the floor and break it because Japanese floors are not meant to handle weight like that.
