Probably not, because the fertilizer was specified as being manure. If it was ANFO/ammonium nitrate (like the material used in the Oklahoma City Bombing), then I doubt he'd even be able to buy it in any quantity outside of hobbyist chemist/lab amounts and if he tried he'd have a visit from a variety of alphabet soup government agencies. But regular manure fertilizer without that level of chemical additives to be used for dangerous purposes right off the bat (...but, I mean, it's chemistry, with the right know-how what you CAN do is a whole other story - most people just lack the knowledge and ability to do anything at a large enough scale). The fact that he's also buying tools and farming equipment and seeds and lives in the boonies of Japan probably just makes him an oddity to the people there and to no interest whatsoever of the government (at least nothing like that happened in the first ~50 chapters of the WN).if he was in the US, he might be put on a watchlist for buying so much fertilizer ?
Realistically, buying the fertilizer is only to help jump-start with revitalizing the soil. After the first harvest, they can start techniques like crop rotations and mixing the stalks back into the soil, and that would have a similar effect. They could also raise livestock or use composting for fertilizer as well.this dude has money PROBLEMS. I get wanting to help them and you have a lot of money, but at least think about how you’re spending it. alsooooo, what happens after they run out of fertilizer?? sure, you can keep buying it for them but what happens after you died? they’ll be used to using fertilizer thennnn it’ll just bring more harms in the long run, the only way they won’t get harmed, is progressing their technology and culture. but that’s really tough to do that much in 70 years ( assuming he’s 20 and dies at 90 or sth) they don’t even haveeee proper tools and relies on god to do most of their bidding. This manga is interesting so far, but the mc is kinda irritating with the way he spends his money
