It was uncomfortable seeing both Valetta and Kazura treat that bigoted, violent scumbag Alondo like a good friend when we know what kind of villain he is. I understand the scene was meant to show their kindness, but that's something we already know. It came across as them being oblivious instead. Yes, both of them are unaware of his true nature; and that is what makes this also frustrating to see. Scum even ruined Valetta's dress with his vomit (actually Liese's so that wronged two people at once).
Fortunately Valetta is physically enhanced by the food from her village so even if Alondo lusts after her, he couldn't have forced himself on her if he tried. I vaguely remember early in this story that bandits raiding the village tried to assault her and failed.
When will they learn about all this? It's a little disturbing that there's already a growing number of conflicts brewing in the background that the protagonists are completely oblivious about and unprepared for.
- There's the enemy nation preparing to wage war, developing new technologies just for that
- A number of nobles including Havel's dad and Alondo are planning to betray Arcadia Kingdom
- Alondo is a violent sibling beating scumbag even before deciding to join his dad's treachery against their country
On another note, Liese just drank 30 glasses of alcohol at a party, and my notes say she's supposed to be only 14 years old...
So it's confirmed that the good-looking couple he got acquainted with is the first prince and his wife and children. I wonder how will that come into play later, and will they even be able to visit the capital before the looming war begins?
