i just wanted to say, how do they know the world steel when he said steel yourselves, cuz they just got to iron.
Just as an FYI"steel yourself" seems like a wrong saying when they barely know what Iron is.
To "Steele Oneself" is much older than the structural process of Steeling Iron; to "Steel" means to harden, and has meant that for centuries, in many different languages with appropriately varied spellings.
But the verb form of "Steel" has been around far longer than our use of it in reference to Iron being carbonized and de-slagged.
TL;DR
We call high-Carbon Iron "Steel" because that word already meant "really hard" when steel-iron was invented.
So they would totally steel themselves.
