Now try telling that to the complainers in the comment sections of the Female Knight Being Treated Like a Woman manga who constantly harp about the "ridiculously slow pace" while ignoring that the chapters are almost never longer than 8 pages, and sometimes are even shorter.

The first mistake was believing that readers have the patience to do basic math when there are pictures to be viewed and words to be scanned. Who has time for stupid numbers? _/s
On a tangential note, I have seen people complain about MC/FMC not having any substantial character development in the literal first chapter of a brand new series.
