As someone else with glasses, I think you're exaggerating a bit. And if you're having so much trouble maybe just get contacts? It'd solve nearly all of those problems. The only reason I haven't switched is because I like how I look with glasses. (And the comment you're quoting isn't even sexualizing anything?)
Contacts are even more of a hassle, cause they’re more complicated to take off before a swim or going to sleep (and if you bathe or swim with them, you’re risking a serious eye infection that can cost your sight btw), and you have to keep buying new ones as one should not wear the same pair for years; so that would just be a cosmetic difference at best, and while it solves the issue with headsets, it’s just makes the rest worse. Been there, done that.
