Well, it's those times of early 2k and most likely author didn't have balls to actually tie their relationship, don't expect anything happening unfortunately. There's a doujinshi by Dagashi, if you want to settle your thirst, recommend #2

Yuki is The Childhood Friend™ of Sawaki, till The Change nothing made him stand out, we had Yuu (a tanned version of Yuki) and Marie (inverted colors of crossdressing Yuki) to which Sawaki had no serious reaction a part being flustered with their actions, but never had romantic affection. Sawaki isn't aro-ace, after all, the kiss made him a bit flustered.
