So uh, interesting that he couldn't do anything earlier since all his allies around him held him back, and yet in this chapter simply his "killing intent" was enough to subdue the demon lord, let alone any actual actions. Makes sense.
an mc who has experienced a long life and death plus reincarnation was stunned by a chicken lord.

id like to point out previous chapter the demon lord assumed Nie Li used a SPECIARU HISATSUUUUU to increase his killing intent to this extent
last few panels he seems to be suffering a severe backlash
Ol Man Zong was merely stalling time till Nie Li worked up enough penis juice to just break out spazzing

the man's like a special candidate or something, figured he reincarnated too
also chicken shit lord aside, remember how easily Nie Li died in his past life
he got jumped by a bunch of rando monsters and got beat to death, welp ig sage emperor and deity beast are rather fantastical names
but this gets downplayed later on as he says despite him reaching what was believed to be the pinnacle of strength in the end he was overwhelmed so easily at every corner
so yeah Nie Li wasn't that strong... and where Nie Li is "blessed" with a wealth of knowledge the chicken shit lord was essentially blessed with a silver spoon in his mouth having a wonderful body and superior aptitude
think of him as like Zhou Yuan from Yuan Zun, man didn't cultivate b/c his foundation was destroyed. In a measly 6 months can compete with gifted brats who are older than him and spent their entire lives cultivating.

Destroying the mansion is a running joke now.
There is nothing to complain about in the plot here. It is very common in fantasy stories for such powerful attacks to be very difficult to draw out and often it comes from unbridled rage. Using that power usually comes at a cost and the next chapter may show this is no exception.
I think Nie Lie’s rage was able to pull something new from that lightning sword. Also, notice that the demon lord had already been hurt badly before Nie Lie’s attack and he still got away in the end.
