damn bro, this manga becomes unbearable after you catch up to it, standing in a queue for 3 chapters and still at least 2 chapters away from MC getting to do the test. Feels like there is going to be a whole arc where they spend 50 chapters in that testing hall standing and waiting for shit to happen until the inevitable dick-measuring competition/fight is gonna happen between mc and the cocky dudes cutting line

7 Heaven root like the white shirt guy is already super genius, and always go to West sect; 8 heaven root like Nie Lie is going to "super ultra mega rare" genius and Central Sect will try to recruit him for sure, going higher then they WILL force him to join. His test score in previous life was 7 earth root, so he actually doesn't have too much intel on the mysterious Central Sect so he doesn't want to go higher and risk it, after all his "foster master" and white shirt guy is from West Sect so going there is much safer

@weebycunt that's one of the problems that needs to be addressed in manhua, 90% of manhuas have panel problems (they have a big chunk of panel for a 2 words dialogue, unlike manga when you feel sometimes like you're reading an essay in a small bubble), or they tend to keep pages count too low. Although Tales of Demons and gods have good if not excellent drawings. There is no reason to keep chapters too short. And one solution is to make panels smaller so they don't need to draw a lot and give more story
