Edit: @Pebi I actually think it's one of those situations where the higher your rank (at legendary and up) the longer you'll live. I mean when he was under ground with Ye Zi Lun and found Kong Mings tomb he clearly said "Even if he did train enough to reach legendary rank, he'd only be able to live another two or three hundred more years." However, since the demonic book he found in his past life is what made him as strong as he was you're statement is also correct, since he was most likely higher than legendary rank.

Man the last chapter with Ye Zi Yun really piased me off. The author makes her demands impossible so the chapters can keep going on and on for $$$$$. In reality the ginger girl is way better, she recognizes his help and respects him, purple hair has zero appreciation and makes unreasonable demands just like a spoilt child. Honestly she's not much better than her clan, only more innocent. She's basically acting like a gold digger for a powerful husband since she already has riches. In his past life she probably just clutched onto him cuz he was a great survivor and most powerful option at that time like a true digger.

Tldr fuck the purple chick, he should take the ginger Phoenix. But of course that'd be too easy and would end things quicker losing reader interest and precious reader $$$$. Fuckin authors man. Every time.

Edit: and honestly, what has purple hair done to deserve MC this life besides exist? Ginger haired girl fought back against her family (big risk) and has been really supportive and confessed to him (kinda, by gem). I hope MC gets legend rank and chooses ginger girl, and purple hair can stamp her foot all she likes while she lost cuz she did F*** all to deserve him.
