@Kaarme tbh i like her way more than miss "oh you love me? Come back when you're a legend tier LOL" purple. Maybe the destruction of the city made her into a better person last time around or maybe the MC was the strongest left but she's done f*** all to other than exist to deserve the mc let alone have appreciated what he did for her so far.

(I'm bad with names) Ginger girl has a way more interesting personality and has already done stuff (the materials gathering and loan, breakfast bento, etc) for him plus confessed with the jade jewel AND would've gone full yandere psycho on her family if they didn't back down on trying to screw mc over during the family meeting. Purple has done.... nothing... absolutely nothing but demand MC get richer get stronger cuz shes a gold power digger.

Id love to be wrong about the female love interest but let's face it we're at chapter 100 now and she's still done nothing to deserve interestmor be worthy? Author is really falling short on this.

@Opticalwinter Romance isn't based on merit, unless it's an arranged marriage, but that's no romance most of the time. Nie Li has the freedom to love whoever he happens to love, for whatever reason. He'd be the gold digger if he only thought about which girl could bring the most benefit onto the tablet. As it is, none of them actually can bring anything of value for him. In his previous life he was like a god compared to any of the characters around him now. He's planning to become even more powerful in this life. So, it doesn't really matter at all what the girls could offer, concretely, per se. He just loves whom he loves.

Nie Li also told her that he's seen a private birthmark so she thinks he's been stalking her. Also grabbing her behind on the ladder and stripping her after she fell unconscious.

The last one wasn't even a mistake, he just thought that was fine since her dress got ripped and she knew him in their past life. She woke up partially naked after falling unconscious with a man who basically confessed to stalking her. Nie Li's a walking red flag.

Also how would she know he doesn't do nice things for her just because he wants to be the next City Lord?

The way purple state the condition feel gold digger, but considering how the MC speak of her private information like a stalker, im honestly surprised she even willing to give him the chance in the first place. Personal would have distance tf away from him.
