What should Tama do when he discovers his girlfriend being romantically involved with another man while she's
supposed to be on a date with him? Oh, how I wish he would just walk away and send her a text that her
new boyfriend can take her home. How would he feel if he found out that his girlfriend was discussing the intimate details of her relationship with another man? How would he feel if she told him she was having sexual fantasies while talking to another man? Like I said before, this girl is a moron.
@Stak
@Dioss I mean yeah I think it still has a happy ending but that ending is way too short, we dont really get to see a ton of them actually being a happy couple or a lot of them being intimate together.
Unfortunately, this happens with many series involving a love triangle. As soon as the main characters become a couple, out of the woodwork pops a third wheel who the female lead befriends and becomes more concerned about than the boyfriend she just got and the rest of the series focuses not on the main couple being lovey-dovey but on the relationship between the female lead and the third wheel.
Some might say "well it leads to development" but honestly so would have an un-interrupted date, with a kiss under the fireworks and then 3 or 4 chapters of romance afterwards. So fuck this forced conflict. Pisses me off that we cant ever just have a sweet story.
Is it too much to ask for? There's another series on mangadex that is currently being scanlated that follows the same pattern: the obnoxious 3rd wheel is persistent right up until chapter 52 when he actually forces the dumb female lead onto a bed, leaving only two more chapters before the series is over. I don't know if it's the mangakas themselves or their editors, but they collectively seem to think that a romance manga won't be successful unless there's at least one love triangle involved and the more forceful a male 3rd wheel is, the better.
