Actually, this is something that strikes me about this manga in general. For something that very likely got axed, it has a pretty well-defined beginning, middle and end. This is true of the chapters themselves as well, where each ends strongly enough I'd jump to see when the next is scanlated. I have a hunch the author knew well in advance the axe was likely and decided not to write by the seat of their pants. Or even had multiple versions of their story arcs mapped out anticipating the axe.

I hate that we have the universe where something this unique and well-conceived just barely got three volumes before dying but Rent a Girlfriend is up to 37 volumes and still going.

For the record, This whole manga is an adaptation of a light novel of the same name made by Rekka Rikudo (and illustrated by Rai). By the time the mangaka (Watarinica) started working on this, the entire story had already been written.
