His stats have E12 at the end. Stuff like that usually means his stats have rolled over and stacks or was too big to display the vast numbers they really are. Ultimately Tanaka is stupid strong, just a shame Int and Wis aren't there and way past broken like everything else.
yeah, obviously. so why does the manga blurb say his stats suck?

I'm guessing that magic tools didn't work fine for MC presence.
1) He was absorbing the world magic power in his body that had zero, so tools that worked off magic in the atmosphere were out of energy, when his mana pool finally filled the atmosphere magic energy returned to normal
2) His magical power was going hayware in the area and acted like a chaff granade on electric devices, it took a while for his body to acclimate to the isekai and release it normally

I assumed it says "mediocre" in the original JP summary too but isn't it meant to be "ironic" bc Tanaka wasn't aware of his own strength/magic power? and the comedy tag after all. He interpreted the huge fire/water spell as him not being able to 'control' his magic versus too strong and because he was too 'cowardly' he never attempted to take down anything 'stronger' than horned rabbits although you'd think he'd tag along with some younger tween adventurers too tho if "kids" can kill rabbits too if not asking a higher rank adventurer to accompany him into the next rank (for him) kinda monster that would usually be hunted and to save him at the last min if he struggles but i don't know if he'll realize that he can take down an orc or so or is always gonna think it's 'dumb luck' each time

He didn't 'release' the fire spell on the mountain til after he turned in the rabbits tho but i don't know how deep into lore the story's gonna get with it versus them exploding in his presence (or maybe it was run down and him being there also 'charged' it somehow)

Because some people don't know how to read scientific notation.
I wonder if there are other isekai-ers who've had stats that high where it had to be written diff, tho i wonder why his is so high considering he's a 'mistake', technically speaking versus him getting 'caught up' in that summoning circle let him absorb the og hero's power
