I too would like to become the wind sometimes.

Wonder what her stepmother went through. If it wasn't too bad I would imagine she'd at least give a half-hearted answer she thinks would satisfy a child's curiosity.

I also wonder if the narration is fully in the past tense already with her already knowing about cheating. Maybe she already knew before or learned it from the dramas her step brother watches.
