As for Filo, guessing the race change changed her personality a bit. A flying bird wouldn't like to be chained down by pulling carriages, they would rather fly. What would happen once they go back?

Filo's Race is specific to the world she is in. For example right now she is technically a Humming Fairy, A flying bird species that specializes in Musical magic and has multiple different sub species each that look different.
An interesting side effect is that she doesn't have a genetic hatred for Dragons right now as well.
When she goes back to their world almost every will go back to normal.
