Sometimes i think Naofumi is too harsh with people (it's kinda understandable with all the bad thing happened to him), but at this instance i think he needs to be harsher. Those kids, especially the Valley lass, should receive harsh strict punishment. Yeah, i know it's not that big of a problem, but it would give bad example for everyone that Naofumi could be stirred with just a little bit of stubbornness.
