But why? With the rules of the game, can't you just bet 1 yen and always say the truth if all you want is survive the round? She would be unkillable and she didn't need any more money, and this was known by everyone in the game, therefore the attention would have had to switch targets to someone else for the necessary kill.

MC is definitely a psychopath who's mentality has been broken from all the abuse received due to father. Wonder if father really a murderer or if it was self-defense or something that never made it to the public. In any case, agree with Pariston that glasses girl shouldn't have lied. If had gotten away with it would only have gotten 1 or 2 yen while lying reduced her to 1 yen. Cruel seems more like a fallen angel reveling in pain and misery, especially since keeps adding to the pressure by deliberately exposing information about the players and adding to the game once the players are committed. Wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't the first game she's held. Wonder why such a sadist despite being an angel. Like deliberately leaking or leaving out information like the cost of a one time bonus money and refusing to stop with the collection or that Yuki took name from his sister. Reminds me of Danganropa a bit. Poor Megan-san, she's definitely being set up by Yamada-san and too pure hearted to realize it. The only 100% absolute is death so that sure fire method is definitely going to trip up at some point whether intentionally or accidentally.

@Mathiason I really gotta wonder if cruel is even her real name. she seems more like a devil in disguise. and you can change the way you look in limbo. she might be dressed up as an angel just to mess with them, she's one hell of a sadist.
