I wanted more exploration of Risako's character, including a proper confession and rejection. The story beind her not wanting emotions was left unexplained, despite mentioning it. I found her intriguing, particularly if her feelings for Kaoru were romantic. Enjoyed the book, but the ending felt abrupt and left Risako's character unresolved.

honestly i am surprised at how satisfying this ending feels, i thought there was no way a romantic ending could work without it being kinda weird since the power and maturity imbalance between them is such a big part of the story but this feels pretty natural

Why is she Kaoru still friends with Risako after all the things she did ? That's fucking non sense.
And that's ending... All the drama for that...One kiss and bye...Whatever.
