One is pretty much definitely Yuri Yuri Panic which has this yuri-loving alien bird character who overstays his welcome (imo) enough to have his own dedicated chapter.

I think his backstory is that his home planet was destroyed because the other birds couldn’t agree on a ship name or something like that lol. That whole manga is kind of insane so it’s mostly forgivable.

Can’t say for the other one listed, but have def seen this trope in a good handful of other manga.

Ngl the angel showing up out of nowhere just took me completely out of the story lmao.

I guess i shouldn't be too surprised though. 99% of the yuri manga i've dropped were because of annoying side characters or a random new character popping up and stealing all the screen... page time.
