I think what will make it worse is if Chiaki does a 180 and starts to consider her a love interest after rejecting her back to back a chapter or two ago. Especially with how adamant he was about things working out with Miyako

It's like, "How many overused low tier romance and characters do you want to put in your story?" "Yes."
The potential is big, but the execution is ruining everything.
