I keep feeling like since the hypnosis app tends to have them still act like themselves that it is a light suggestion and they do what they want instead of it being full hypnosis make them a slave type.

She does like him we see her being friendly in normal time when she is out with friends. In this chapter she also gets very jealous during hypnosis time.

The app has a more important feature, it lets the hypnosis target feel the hypnotist real emotions and thoughts ("exposes their heart"), the reason the girls become yandere is that they're constantly exposed to his genuine care and affection for them.
