Chapters without fishfuck saying anything sure is nice. Would be even nicer if he suddenly dies due to being hit by an ambulance next chapter or something like that.

Kirishima sure is fucking pathetic. Like, come on, you've reached this far and you still can't figure out who the main protagonist of this story is? It definitely isn't you so stop saying useless shit like "Asada won't have enough time to do the thing lol" I know you are desperate since your relevance to the plot keeps getting smaller and smaller, but come on.

You know what, just for him saying such a stupid sentence, I'm gonna bet that Noguchi gives his blessing and support for Katou becoming the new professor once this whole ordeal is over no basis other than me feeling like the plot demanding that to happen as a satisfying closure (at least to me) for the conflict between Noguchi and Katou, which would be a huge blow on Kunitachi and Kirishima since Katou would've amassed at least 1/2 of the votes (I think?) if Noguchi's faction also votes for her. If Noguchi supporting her does happen, I'm also thinking that there's the possibility that Sofue and Kitou not really sure about Kitou due to his agreement with Asada but hey, the guy has shown how unpredictable he is would also vote for Katou once they know that Noguchi is nominating her, leaving Kirishima and Kunitachi with little to no chance of winning.

I wonder if Kunitachi should still be considered a professor candidate at this point. I feel like the guy is already completely fucked over, like beyond salvation or something like that. There's also something involving Shingo and him which I still think will happen after the Batista team's inevitable success on this surgery.

you seem extremely upset by the fish guy. yeah he's horrible and is being used as the example for everything a doctor isn't, but he only has like, 20-30 panels of appearances in the series overall. he's basically an afterthought to show off how great ijuuin is. he seems to be the stand-in for how the author views the current (at the time) japanese medical system.

kirishima isn't really that pathetic if you consider that what asada is doing is basically magic. this isn't a manga where the characters know it's a manga, so why would he assume a 'main character' will always save the day. i don't think noguchi will throw his support behind katou if he survives, the most he MIGHT do is withdraw his own support from kirishima/kunitachi.

kunitachi would probably still be a viable candidate. being a leader doesn't mean you can save everyone, so having a patient die isn't the end of the story there. Regardless of this surgery, he's still internationally famous for being brilliant (which he is), a leader (which he is), experienced (which he is), and an amazing surgeon (which he is). his son is probably going to be ntred by asada tho lol

remember, asada still failed to save the vip dude even after ijuuin riding a motorcycle in a hurricane to get the blood. (i think he'll probably succeed this time tho, because plot)

I'm not sure whether that technique is supposed to be the super experimental method or not, but what I was expecting her plan to be was to just remove the heart altogether and install a constant circulator, like what Dick Cheney has. Then there would be the literary irony of the head of cardiology being literally heartless.
