It's refreshing, unlike other characters who return becoming sages of the epitome of knowledge and right decisions, miraculously becoming a completely holy and compassionate angelic person that has no shred of their original persona other than their looks.

She's still selfish, as raised to be and quite arrogant fitting the traits of her old self and as a child but with knowledge of a foreseeable future keeping her grounded to her goals, being the 'push' she needs in order to establish a better version of herself without abandoning her human character.

Surprising not to see this in the comments, but sweets actually do help brain function. If you happen to be at the tail end of a particularly rough all-nighter, a cup of coffee and a sugar bump can get you through the tail end of it. It's almost like your brain comes back to you.

Probably won't help Mia a whole lot, but it is founded in reality.

But by god, everytime she whips out that meat phrase, I'm really miffed. The original historical phrase was bread and cake, which fits because you need similar ingredients.

Eating meat when there's no bread is actually a sensible thing that nomadic people do, or in barren places more suited for grazing than agriculture. It doesnt showcase her obliviousness as the author intends it to.

Seriously, if youre gonna steal something, steal it properly, dont mangle it so bad that it doesnt make sense anymore.

I really thought that the MC was actually gonna study and shit to fix the problems and maybe that she had learned her lesson, but she's just gonna rely on the diary to fix all of her problems?
I mean, she knows that they spend way too much on food, and yet she orders more food (sweets), I'm sorry what the fuck?
