The main character's personality in this world would normally be something like a gyaru type, so I keep thinking of him with baggy clothes and makeup.

Reminds me of the first Austin Powers movie. Where by the end of the movie, Austin realizes he has to face his own biases and preconceptions of women and their desired roles in society compared to his life before being frozen.
