In those cases, it's usually implied that they would get into a relationship sooner or later if it wasn't for the stealer. The feelings are already there and mutual, just not official. The feelings absolutely matter when it comes to NTR, which a lot of people in this thread are forgetting. NTR is supposed to make the reader feel disgust at a pure relationship being tainted.

In this case, there were no pure feelings on either side. On one side, you have an obsessive abuser doing whatever it takes to monopolize and control his possession. The other side hated their abuser but was unable to speak up due to their low self-esteem and the expectations of others around them.

Edit: Also, NTR always has some form of coercion or blackmail by the stealer. The only person that's attempted any of that is the brat getting "cucked," as it were.

very over the top, on Shouta's part, but then again that's also sorta a logical path & conclusion for that type of character personality when they're pushed to the edge like this.
the taser felt like a bit of a leap, but it sells the potential danger she was in. And, Satou was there, so Koharu was ultimately going to be safe.

I will happily admit to enjoying the expression in the final panel. "Yes, yes, NTR this & that", but I will always applaud comeuppance, specifically.
