On same sentiment as baldy, like dude, E1 is practically the EASIEST stage of any event maps.
Plus you must be blind if you mixed up fuyutsuki and belfast.
Another thing to note, it is not a big problem to put light cruiser in place of destroyer, especially on E1 map. It usually become a problem on E3 map onwards where it will affect the routing.
Lastly, yes, it was a thrill when kancolle was on its peak. When event happen, admirals will chimes in on tips and the best set ups to beat event, and some truly beat the hard boss by tooth and nail.
1 of the good story I still remember, was an admiral who hunted for Amatsukaze for 2 years till he finally get her. (For those who not play, that time Amatsukaze was event exclusive drop, where the stages are harder and small chances to get her.)
Would love to see more but it looks like author have little to no experience or reference about kancolle, personally I wanna see author make chapter on Iowa event, pioneer of BS event difficulty, by asking people experience. I'm sure many admirals/ex will love to tell the tale.
