The comedy reminds me of One's story telling which is good. But when it comes to the emotional moments it falls flat, in contrast, because it doesn't commit to the bit. Like have this whole ch be about Tek's perfect world and have multiple instances where he notices something (his friends) are missing. End the ch on Tek waking up.
