This chapter just casually confirmed so many things people have theorized throughout the series. So, Tokio has been out and about. A couple of people have theorized she could have been the man eater that Haruki and I think her being anywhere in Japan definitely makes that idea way more plausible.

Also, that scene with Kiruko and Maru (or Yamato?) in the cave is unnerving considering how caves have been symbolic of deaths throughout the series.

For the ones who "discover" things, I advise a good reread. I've done it and it's pretty useful to put everything together as there are pieces of information everywhere, many we miss in the first reading because we're taken by the pace of the story and do not always pay attention to details.

Cover of chapter 52 hints at it and the fact that type of robot has never been seen with a brain-case installed on it before (Mina for example has 4 of them that compose her A.I.).

Yeah, outside of some sort of genetic marker/special ability that makes a clone different from a non-clone, there's no way for anyone to be able to tell the difference (in regards to who is the original non-clone) since Sawatari/Sakota lost track of which was which during the bombing of the academy in 2024.

I mean he would look like Tokio even if he was a clone, since the clone is cloned from Tokio's baby. Like identical twins are functionally just clones of each other that naturally occurred due a single a fertilized egg splitting into two distinct zygotes.

The cover of Chapter 52 has Nata sitting on the back of the robot. When the robot is seen in the chapter it has something right there. A Container with cords and cables going into its head. This container is not there in previous scenes with that robot. But these containers (6 of them) can be seen next to Meena in some earlier chapter that I don't recall. It's heavily implied that Sawatari put the principals brain into Natas body and Natas brain into a container and hooked it up to the robot.

This series is quite slow-paced, and a monthly. Even though I tried to keep things in memory, some just slipped. This chapter honestly clears up things way too simply and straight-forwardly (When I saw the doctor facing Maru, I immediately deduced that he is Sawatari)! I thought it would have been extra convoluted given the parallel/multiple timelines.

The cover of Chapter 52 has Nata sitting on the back of the robot. When the robot is seen in the chapter it has something right there. A Container with cords and cables going into its head. This container is not there in previous scenes with that robot. But these containers (6 of them) can be seen next to Meena in some earlier chapter that I don't recall. I knew that Maru means circle from FGO protagonist name, Fujimaru, which is basically alternate reading of FGO (FuGi Maru) but didn't realize it until it brought up today.

Pretty much everyone in the story deserves better (except the Director who probably deserved worse). I hope they don’t keep piling on further tragedies on the cast but given some of the foreshadowing I am not betting on it.

As far as we know, no they aren’t. Exhausted and pretty beat up after their fight with Maru. But like Maru, they should recover relatively quickly.

No, while Kona’s Man-Eater has a similar looking carapace as the tardigrade-looking Man-Eater that ate Haruki, the face is very different looking and looks like a slug instead of a tardigrade.
