Well im not the translator but i dont think so since anyone ought to wash their parts after doing some dirty/necessary activities (urinating, defecating, or things like after cooking/making herbs by bare hands like what has been shown in the manga) pardon me tho if im mistaken. @LysandersTreason

back in those days, you have a bucket of water and a mug to pour the water over your body. Kinda a DIY shower. When I visited India, this was quite regular there as showering uses up a lot of water and there are frequent water shortages in India. Hope that helps.
