The Witch looks kind of similar to the daughter of Arthur the patron saint guy.
It was mentioned that she was sealed for giving people blessings and her father also has the same ability to, perhaps the church doesnt want any rivals religion being born around her so they declared her a witch and the creator god to be “evil” , you know typical fantasy church stuff.
