On a more serious note, some manga adaptations are used for LN promotion, so when the LN is ended, they have no incentive to further boost the sale. Hence the chopping block.

But the LNs of this series ended early this year yet they still pumping out chapters as usual.
Next one is scheduled for 24th this month with author & artist's twitter showing no sign of slowdown.
