For some reason manga that are quirky, happy, and interesting are not allowed to live in Japan for more than a year or so.

The Japanese have to give up on the pablum publishers and start going to webtoons. All you need to do is cultivate a couple thousand rabid fans, and you can live a comfortable life, free from editorial interference and rise and fall of fads.

Wow, all of a sudden the story leaped and is rushing to the ending.

Axed huh..? Damn, I liked this series too. I hate Japanese publishers, they should at least leave a clause in the contracts to let the mangaka finish and close out their stories at a reasonable number of chapters.

Not suddenly pull the plug like this because of some dumb popularity polls.
