I know it's not satisfying to have weak pathetic villains, but come on! The heroes themselves needs to have some wins every now and then.
Every scheme they seemingly stop doesn't do any real damage to the villains, and anytime the villains bother to get involve directly, they easily win. How long will it take before she finally scores a real win that seriously impacts the villains?
