I can understand the knight's feelings. I once worked in a departement's program under an assistant professor that's a bit.... enthusiastic. I especially worked closely together since I was one of the coordinators and even though he was a bit of slave driver, I'd say it was still within the scope of our job description. It wasn't like we had that much work originally and he even forked his own money for additional funds and our overtime pay. My subordinates didn't like about being worked like a horse though, but for this I was actually on the assistant professor's side although I never explicitly tell it.
