I will give this up to the writer on this one. This was actually pretty interesting and well written character development for Fine.
The idea that shes developed a relationship with Mikagami offscreen through his clones is a good use of something that is essentially a plot device that exist to give currently non relevant harem members something to do(or I guess technically someone to do) while not onscreen is pretty clever. That and having them build a friendship as opposed to a purely romantic or sexual relationship is also pretty nice. It's a nice touch with them being the only two guys in the group and Fine keeping its as a personal secret is interesting, but I'm guess Mikagami will remember info from his clones. All of the characters are "fun" for the most part but Fine may ACTUALLY be well written.

Do recall that it's forced on both participants. If nothing happens, they get drugged repeatedly until it happens.
The refusal to turn Fine back is also out of their hands. Unsanctioned use of the skill is illegal, with lethal punishment. While there is a black market for it, there's no laying low for them if they don't nearly immediately go back to how people know them making it pointless to do. There's also the plan to make use of the fact that it was illegally used on Fine in the first place, which would probably be grounds to get its use authorized, but not until it's safe to do so and by then the laws of gender bending dictate that Fine won't want to go back.

Honestly, Fine was one of the most unattractive one to begin with, with her having previously been a man not helping the situation, but with the new hair cut she's definitely got a boost to her attractiveness now.
