I came back after half a year and find out this manga was axed five months ago? No wonder I never saw an update notification...

That felt like the mangaka decided in the second last page that he wants to end the story.

A pity. It might have been the same as usual in its essence, but the roman-like setting gave this series a somewhat special flavor.

I liked this, and some of it a Lot, but the Roman-esque setting had alarming gaps in a few spots; some of them made sense:
Mulsum is a Roman drink that is essentially squeezed fruit, light vinegar, and water; it is actually sweet, and great, even amazing, on a really hot day.
Imagine the sweet-and-astringent of pomegranate juice, with just the slightest hint of the tang of pickle-juice; it's amazing after fighting on the field in armour all day.
Mulsum is wonderful.
Mangaka didnt know the name of it, so they did their best, and called it "Fruito Syruppu Juice-o," and that's GREAT, cos the name is no big deal.

Setting up a class stratification, and then ignoring it any time it conflicts with modern Japanese sensibilities?
FUCK THAT.

Why bother with world building if it's just "Generic Preconceptions about Medieval European Life Isekai" when you get bored?!

Thank gods it's a short-run; this would become a train wreck after chapter 15-20.

Still.. this was pretty good while it lasted!
