It's more apparent in the next chapter than this one, but I'm only now noticing how weird the MC's proportions are. Now that I've noticed his lanky orangutan arms, I can't un-see them.

The three sisters are named after three greek goddesses that are siblings: Dike, goddess of justice. Eirene, goddess of peace. And Eunomia, goddess of Law.

@dhananjay Pretty much. I feel like the author is treating this topic incredibly lightly and to a certain degree disrespecting it. Forcing someone to live when they do not want to should not be this easily solved like this and it hasn't really fixed the problem. If the MC dies they essentially revert back and it starts bringing up very shitty elements of how the character the MC is and why the power shouldn't be really used in the way it is.

@Arkos Indeed.
It feels so weird to solve such a weird problem in such a forced way. There was room for some interesting stories regarding these three girls. I mean, they're the last of their kind, a near-extinct race. And Elves too, to boot.
Why are the elves becoming extinct? You'd think a race of biological immortals would be pretty good at surviving.
Why are these 2 girls so... apathetic? Is it just utter boredom from having nothing to do for hundreds of years? Did they even try out various stuff for the lulz? Did they try to fall in love and have children? Did they try to master a profession? Have they tried traveling the world? Or did they just procrastinate in their village and decided that there's nothing to life despite not trying anything?

The whole idea that immortality is actually a curse in the long run is such a weird setting to me. There is so much they could do... and things that only they could accomplish or work at, being immortals. But nope, let's just starve to death.
Speaking of, kinda odd that they're just starving to death. Are they so apathetic they don't care about the unpleasantness of starving to death?

This plot with these immortal girls is so dumb...

On the having children front, being the last of their kind might cause some issues as elves normally favour blood purity and with no males they might not have an interest in the lower races. Also elves are pretty laid back just chilling in the woods.
That said it must have been a war because no way would the younger more lively generations not have bred, so yeah it’s weird for there to only be three and for them to be sisters.

Whatever makes a story I suppose

War makes sense and kind of, not. Normally a war wouldn't genocide a species, as that would include slaughtering every single child, women and elderly. And if that is actually the case, these sisters should have the motivation of either vengeance against whoever did that or towards repopulating their species.
And just a sidenote, but Elves aren't always just laid back and chillin' in the woods, right? It depends on the story. In some literature, Elves are more of a custodian race, protecting some seal or other of some Demon or otherwise having some other important function.
In Lord of the Rings, which is where the first elves came from I think, they were a bit of both, while they also went to war over one of the important trinkets the dwarves(or the Dragon) had.

It feels like these Elves were incredibly contrivedly thrown into this manga just for the sake of having Elves in it, and then this stuff happened to them so they would be bound to our Goblin MC (because maybe normally Elves would never associate with goblins? Although that itself would have been more interesting; Elves that don't like the Goblins but choose to stick around because the MC is showing his good side over the course of the story)

To begin with, I never liked how "easygoing" the MC is. He just goes along with everything and forgives the humans regardless of what they do.. He even imprisoned a fellow gob who only murdered a human in self defense. I wonder if he would've done the same so easily if it was someone he actually cared about. He probably doesn't care much about a Goblin dying since he's used to seeing them die left and right due to their short life span.

@Narha It is incredibly forced and I honestly expect that there will never be a good answer to how these are apparently the last surviving elves or how they have problems "living". Hell at this point it could be somewhat argued keeping them alive against their will could be incredibly immoral and at this point with how his powers are working the Humans or anyone else are quite justified in killing the MC. Hell he has essentially just created the equivalent of living dolls. They are alive but what now? They apparently have nothing to live for besides being forced to do so. If it is just swept under the rug or they somehow found a goal to live for in the next chapter incredibly easily then I am going to facepalm so hard.

@Narha Just read the next chapter on the group page and I currently have a palm sized print into my face. I am going to go play Stalker to erase the sheer stupid out of my mind.

Yeah the MC annoys me with his “oh you tried to murder me for the 30th time............... well guess it’s to be expected. Btw do you want to borrow my skilled people for healing and such? Oh I might even be able to make humans stronger too, also I’ll keep one of your spies.assassins in my camp too, she can do nothing and just report back to you and try the occasional assassination!”

It’s very frustrating, there’s humouring humanity for the sake of politics and then there’s being a punching bag.
