It's so easy for me to default to the safe, methodical default play style that you see pros use that sometimes I have to remind myself I should be checking for weaknesses at the beginning of every match. Also that I'm allowed to abuse the same tool over and over again if the opponent doesn't have an answer. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

You're not a real pro until you can out-cheese the cheese.
I can't count the times I won in PvP (not fighting games, other types) because the opponent could not adapt the "meta" strategy to a guy who'd just spam attacks randomly with no tactics.
