Feel the ratings are a bit harsh.

Things are far too early to judge and I feel a lot of people generalize off the basic premise still being set up.

No sexual violence has occurred yet (thankfully) and the only “rapist” character so far is the one sparring guy and some background characters who harassed the female characters. MC beat the rapists ass before anything actually happend and has taken them under his wing.

Honestly the harassment of the women is something thats uncomfortable (the rapist literally cops a feel to provoke them) but considering the premise if you can get through that then likely MC in future chapters will train the girls to get revenge on those guys.

Besides that MC is an antihero.
He’s very analytical and tries to always make the best choice wherever, but folds to his morals whenever something truly immoral is about to happen to someone.

He’s flawed but has his flaws acknowledged and his entire character is woking past living a life controlled by doing the “right” choice.

Honestly I think it works perfectly fine for a more mature story so far and is worth reading.

Giving 8/10 with 5 chapters out right now subject to change in the future if it remains consistently good to a 9 or even 10/10

This manga would be so peak if it didn't contain all of the garbage isekai checkboxes.

Slavery system? Boom. Women who exist only to get sexually assaulted? Boom. Underaged girls matched with older men? Boom. Like it's actually egregious how garbage this isekai slop would be without the fighting game gimmick, which sucks because it feels like the author cares a lot about the FGC community and is interested in giving it accurate representation.

It's just like, WHY did they have to represent it like this? No, I do not want to see a panel of how cool Daigo is followed by a scene of a women getting molested. Is the demographic of manga readers so cooked that we have to include fantasy rape in our story about achieving your dreams in a fighting game to retain readership? Yeah I don't know, the first chapter was stellar and holy moly did it take the worst dip I've seen from a manga in years.

For someone growing up in Scandinavia reading the old stories about elves this is about par, almost mild in comparison. Elves are not always like those Tolkien Goody two shoes. They're really, really dark sometimes.

If bypassing every differences in power and training, so that you are on the same level with every monster you meet is not op, then sure. And after seeing your comment, I think I might have made a quick assumption so I came back, read ch3 and wow, at the end 3 girls came to him so he didn't have to go build harem himself. The author attracts a lot of hate on mangadex. I think because his works tend to be edgy smut. Similar comments on Kakegurui's author's works.
Personally I love their stuff. I guess it's a sign of changing times.
