Pythagoras Theorem and algebraic equations are something most East Asian countries teach in lower secondary, meaning right after primary school.

You'd be learning that shit between age 12-15.
I guess that's middle school level?

By upper secondary, we're already starting on calculus and it hurts so much :aquadrink:
Also, some "prep" schools go one step further and start teaching University level material in upper secondary.
I think it's above just pythagorean theorem, though? The triangle question asks for the area of two different triangles, one of which doesn't seem to be right. I think it touches on Heron's formula as well as inverse trigonometry

Well...based on my own education, I learned trigonometry in upper secondary, which is 16-17 years of age.
Doesn't seem unlikely that the MC would remember such questions/methods.
Heck, I still remember the SOH-CAH-TOA rule lmao :wtf:
